Municpal Election

  • St Martins General Municipal Election was held April 7, 2026. Terry Boeckman and John Pecher were both relected and will serve a two year term.

 

Board of Alderman News

  • The Woodlands Estates has be replated from a 14-lot subdivision to a 2-lot subdivision.  John Ruth is the owner of the subdivision.
  • Bids were opend on Feb. 20, 2026 for the sidewalks on Carel Road a& Henwick Lane with GWH Landscape Contracting LLC the low bid at $856,165.89.  This includes curbing on Henwick and Carel Road.  This also includes resurfacing of Hanwick and Carel Road.

Niekamp Park News

  • The first brick for the Flag Plaza is to be dedicated to Doug Reece former City Administrator.  The Board of aldermen alpproved charging $75 for the first bricks.  Later on, it will be $100.  Contact the City Office for forms if you would like your name or loved one's name to appear on a brick.
  • Niekamp Park is now open with water turned on and restrooms open.



Residential Spring Clean-up

  • St. Martins Residential Bulk Spring Clean-up will be May 8, 2026. Itmes must be set at the curb by 5 am. NO HAZARDOUS WASTE, NO YARD WASTE, NO CAR PARTS OR WHITE GOODS, AND NO CONCRETE.


Annual City-Wide Garage Sale

  • St Martins City-Wide Garage Sale is scheduled for May 8 and/or May 9. We are again asking tohose participating to contribute $2.00 to cover the cost of advertising in several newspapers. For more info, call Helen Kliethermes, 337 W. Forest Lane (573-893-3693, or Virginia Bayne, 345 Verdant Lane (573-230-7666).


BUDGET

  • St. Martins City Budget was approved by the Board of Aldermen at the February meeting.
