St . Martins City News


Municpal Election

  • St Martins General Municipal Election will be held April 8, 2025. Daryl Raithel filed for the office of Mayor, John Roush filed for the office of South Ward Alderman, and Scott Amos filed for the office of North Ward Alderman. All positions are for two-year terms.  Exericse your right and privilege!! Vote in the April Election.


New Alderman

  • John Roush volunteered to serve as South Ward Alderman following the resignation of Laura Boeckmann. Mr. Roush is running for South Ward Alderman in the upcoming April 2025 election.

 

Board of Alderman News

  • The Board of Aldermen and the Planning & Zoning Commission approved The Woodlands Subdivision with Ordinance No. 2025-01. The Woodlands is located to the north of Rainbow Dr. and consists of 3-5 acre lots in a  gated subdivision.


Niekamp Park News

  • The Niekamp Park restrooms and drinking fountains have been dewinterized and are once again functional now that the weather has warmed up. Surveillance cameras are on and wi-fi is available courtesy of COMO Connect.  Eugene Strobel has been hired as an "as-needed" employee to assist in both the Parks and Street Dept.


Residential Spring Clean-up

  • St. Martins Residential Bulk Spring Clean-up will be May 9, 2025. Itmes must be set at the curb by 5 am. NO HAZARDOUS WASTE, NO YARD WASTE, NO CAR PARTS OR WHITE GOODS, AND NO CONCRETE.


Annual City-Wide Garage Sale

  • St Martins City-Wide Garage Sale is scheduled for May 9 and/or May 10. We are again asking tohose participating to contribute $2.00 to cover the cost of advertising in several newspapers. BUDGET

  • St. Martins City Budget was approved by the Board of Aldermen at the February meeting.
