A Transportation Alternatives grant was received by the City of St. Martins from Modot for $500,000 to add a sidewalk on the west side of Carel Rd from Bus. 50 West to Henwick Lane and on the south side of Henwick Lane from Carel Road back around to Bus. 50 West. The overall cost is expected to run approximately $625,000. Design Engineering is now underway by Engineering Surveys and Services with construction anticipated in 2026.
RESIGNATION - Laura Boeckman resigned from the Board of Aldermen effective September 3, 2024 as South Ward Alderman for personal reasons. THANK YOU TO LAURA FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.

BURNING OF LEAVES
Burning of leaves and other unwanted property on private property is permitted from sunup to sundown in the City of St. Martins. Burning of materials creating toxic or noxious fumes or odors is not permitted at any time.
RESIDENTIAL FALL CLEAN-UP
The Fall Clean-up for residential customers of Republic Services is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
